An Evening of Raw Truth and Unfiltered Courage

On June 10th, the Ministry of National Security hosted Truth Be Told: Youth Rise Against the Violence — a powerful and emotionally charged evening that placed Bermuda's young people at the center of the conversation on gang violence.

In front of a packed audience of students, parents, educators, and community leaders, five high school teams took the stage to unveil bold, youth-led campaigns that confront the harsh realities of violence in Bermuda. These weren't abstract ideas or classroom assignments — they were raw, unfiltered truths, rooted in lived experience and shaped by months of research, collaboration, and courage.
