Violence affects individuals, families, and communities. The Stop the Violence campaign is committed to breaking this cycle by promoting awareness, action, and solutions. Through education, engagement, and empowerment, we aim to build a safer, stronger Bermuda.
Our Objectives
Amplify Community Voices
We will elevate the voices of those most affected, especially youth impacted by violence, to foster empowerment and change.
Showcase Successful Programs
By highlighting mentors, educators, and community initiatives, we connect at-risk youth with positive alternatives.
Address Mental Health Challenges
We will raise awareness and provide resources for mental health support, particularly for young Black men, who often face barriers to care they need.
Promote Healing and Reconciliation
Through community-driven initiatives, we encourage open dialogue, trust-building, and pathways to a safer future.
How Will We Measure Success?
Reduction in violent incidents among youth
Increased participation in mentorship and educational programs
Greater awareness and utilization of mental health resources
Enhanced community engagement and dialogue
Stronger partnerships between government, community organizations, and local businesses
